BISLAND NAMED ALL-REGION
Congratulations go out to SVCC Freshman Sarah Bisland for being named to the 2018-19 NJCAA Region IV First Team in Softball. Bisland hails from Rockridge High School in Taylor Ridge, Illinois and plays catcher and 3rd base for the Skyhawks.
In 99 appearances at the plate, Bisland has tallied 46 hits (.465 batting average), knocked in 22 RBI’s and record 4 home runs. Her on-base percentage is .509 and her slugging percentage is .677 for the season. Bisland and her teammates play the first round of the NJCAA Region IV tournament on May 8th.
